Super Chepe Hydropower Project
The Super Chepe Hydropower (SCHP) Project is a run-of-the-river type hydropower project on the Chepe River in Ajirkot Rural Municipality, Gorkha district of Nepal. The project has an installed capacity of 9.05 MW and generates an average annual energy of 54.75 GWh.
Developed by Ridge Line Energy Ltd. and financed by Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd. with a 70:30 loan-to-equity ratio, SCHP contributes significantly to Nepal’s clean energy goals.
